Moving to our new home

Well, it's almost time! This temporary sight for Real Life Wesleyan will be no more as of July 1st, 2009. We will then be moving into our "Real Home". You will still find us by typing http://www.livereallife.net/, but it will take you to a fully functional website instead of this blog. Thanks for your patience!

Meanwhile, join us at church... if you have ever wanted to understand the landscape of the Bible and how it effects our life, you should come out for Alpha-Omega- our summerlong message series. Services are at 28297 Old Village Road, Mechanicsville, MD 20659 (in the fellowship Hall behind the Catholic church) Our services are at 9:15 and 11:15 each Sunday morning.

Mother's Day Under the Big Top!

Come Join us Sunday at 9:15 or 11:15 for a great Mother's Day Service Under the Tent. It's going to be a great day... we even offer Kid's ministry under their own tent! Our tent location is at 27399 Old Village Road in Mechanicsville, MD 20659. This is for this Sunday only.

Next Sunday, May 17th, we will be back at our indoor location behind the Immaculate Conception Church at 28297 Old Village Road.

Parsonage Open House!

You are all invited to come check out the parsonage this Sunday December 21st. Join us anytime between 5:00 and 8:00 pm. Snacks, treats and all the rest are on us! Come when you can, stay as long as you can!

After Mechanicsville, watch for Persimmon Hills development across highway to your left.

Take first U-turn and start North.
Turn right on Persimmon Creek road into development (Large sign there-- PERSIMMON HILLS)

Take second left in development onto Parrish Court.

Why Believe in Nothing?

Tradition for tradition's sake alone is the epitome of emptiness. If the only reason we down the sweets, deck the halls, and wrap the gifts is because that's what we always do, we chase the wind. Christmas has meaning and purpose centered in the historic birth of Jesus Christ.
